Artist- Jacqueline Dean
Please feel free to contact me if you like my work or are interested in purchasing any of my works.
Education-Monash University, Clayton and Chisholm, Frankston.
I have studied under Robert Wade, Colley Whisson, John Bredl, Joan Ingpen- Bognuda.
I began painting as a child, first exhibiting work and gaining awards during my secondary school years. I began to sell my work in the 1980s.
During the latter part of the 1980’s I lived in Asia, where I continued to study, work and exhibit. I eventually returned home to the Mornington Peninsula and for some years taught art and creative studies at primary school level.
I am passionate about the beautiful area in which I live. The bay and its surrounding landscape are often the subjects in my paintings. I like to think of myself as an atmospheric painter and enjoy capturing the many moods of the bay.
Although primarily an oil painter, I enjoy the challenge of all subjects and all mediums. I currently exhibit oil, watercolour, and pastel paintings as well as graphite and pen drawings. My paintings and drawings are in private and corporate collections in the U.K, U.S.A, France, Asia and all around Australia and New Zealand.
I now also produce work as an illustrator for my own projects and I happily accept commissions.
